Acrostic Poem

This acrostic poem was done in the computer lab by a Wharton student.

I’m Wonderful

Blue is my favorite color.

Reading is what I’m best at in school.

Eager to go back to Disney World.

The Rocket’s are my favorite basketball team.

Texas is where I live.

Saturday, February 13th

Well, it's now been a few days since I attended the TCEA conference. The things I learned were amazing and as you can see, I have spent a lot of time creating this blog. I am still very excited about the advantages blogging can offer students and parents. Hopefully, I can keep to my goal and showcase Wharton's technology achievements.

TCEA Conference

Hello everyone. Just woke up and decided that today is the day I would start putting my new blogging knowledge to work. I am very excited to get back to work and show my fellow teachers the creative technology I have learned. My goal, to create a blog that showcases my students and their achievements. Hopefully, if I do well, students and parents will have a place to visit to express the concerns, voice their praise, or see the new direction Wharton Independent School district is heading concerning technology. I am excited about my new position and truely believe that if we are to prepare our students for a "world of technology" they will encounter, we must continue on our new path and get the job done.
